I wanted to write you to tell you how much I appreciate not only your help but the help of all of Dugan's agents in the development of my business. I originally belonged to another host agency with a 60/40 split. The extra 15% I get with Dugan's makes an enormous difference.
On many occasions I have needed help and have found Dugan's to always be there with a prompt reply or put my queries on Dugan's agents forum and everyone who has experience in that particurlar area answers with amazing ideas. I am also Canadian and live in Canada so I thought it would be a lot tougher to find deals for my clients here however I have a good base of Canadian suppliers with more being added regurlarly.

Dugan’s Travels was an answer to my prayers when I discovered this host agency 4 years ago. I had been searching out and trying to become a travel agent for nearly 10 years. I found that I could not afford the classes and they were not offered close to my home. Dugan's Travels is one of the few host agencies that is willing to take a chance on people like me who have the passion but no previous experience. There has never been a time when I had a question that I didn't get it answered almost immediately. The systems for booking and payments set up at Dugan's Travels are easy to use and reliable. Got To Go Cruise...and other Leisure Travel
I researched a lot for a host agency because I had zero experience as a travel agent, and wanted to join a host agency that would train me without paying lots of money. When I found Dugan's Travels, I had to research even more to make sure it wasn't a "too good to be true" scam, because they hardly charged start up fees, they had free trainning, and their ongoing fees were VERY affordable. I read many newspapers online featuring Jennifer (the owner), and saw in many respectable travel related sites the name of Dugan's Travels, so I realized they were "for real". After both me and my husband joined them, we couldn't be more happy with their services. They are friendly, they train you, and they don't abuse you with fees and upfront costs which really helps you at the beginning. We are very happy to be part of Dugan's Travels and would recommend to anyone with or without experience. Their commission levels with suppliers are great, as well as their relationship with suppliers. At Dugan's, they are friendly and patient with newcomers to the business, and their agent forum helps tremendously. Two thumbs up !! :)

I started pondering the idea of becoming planning group get-a-ways in October of 2007. I took a course called “Getting Paid to Travel.” It was more for those that wanted to become a tour guide or outbound travel agent, but I learned a lot. I have always loved to travel and to plan events, so I thought, “ why not become a travel agent and get paid for it.” It wasn’t until December 2008, when I began looking for a host agency. While up with my newborn during the early morning hours, I began analyzing host agencies. Mainly, I look for cost, benefits, and training offered. I wrote down pros and cons of about 22 agencies. I quickly began to eliminate. I used good to see, if I could find anything bad about each agency. Some were too over priced and others seemed to “corporate.” I narrowed my selection down to two agencies. It seemed as though one agency did not want to answer my questions. I knew then that was not the agency for me. I asked the same questions of Dugans Travels and both Barbara and Jennifer answered them. I even choose agents to randomly call and e-mail and they were willing to answer questions as well. The Dugans website along with speaking to them made me feel comfortable with joining. In February 09, I purchased Jennifer’s Ebook and I decided to join in March 09. I am glad that I chose Dugans Travels, because the fees are nominal, I do not feel pressured to sell, and agents have been really helpful.

With hard work and a hands-on approach Jennifer has managed to keep upfront costs and monthly fees extremely low.
